THURSDAY
San Cristobal – Highland (Junco & Highlands)
Also Known as Chatam, this island of 558 sq km is the fifth largest in the archipelago and has the second largest population. The provincial capital of Puerto Baquerizo Moreno is found on the south west point of the island.

PM: Arrival in San Cristobal Airport and greeting by our naturalist guide. Transfer to the Monserrat Yacht (approx 10 mins).

Check in and Lunch on board

In the afternoon, our next stop is Laguna El Junco, the largest fresh water lake in the Galapagos. We climb up to the top of a hill. There are lots of birds flying around. La Galapaguera, a reservation for giant tortoises. There is a little pen where they kept the baby tortoises. We walk a trail through the reserve and giant tortoises are everywhere.

FRIDAY
Española Island
This Island, often called by its English name of Hood, is the most southerly in the archipelago. It is a medium sized island of 61sq km and there are two visitors’ sites.

Punta Suarez, lies at the western end of the island. A wet landing is necessary. There is trail about two km in length which takes the visitor trough a beach full of marine iguanas, by masked and blue–footed booby colonies before reaching the main attraction, the waved Albatross colony.

Gardner Bay is a beautiful white sand beach at the east end of Española. It is reached with a wet landing and there is good swimming, and a sea lion colony. An islet rock, a short distance away, provides with good snorkeling. You can often see white – tipped reef sharks around it.

SATURDAY
Santa Fe – Plazas
Santa Fe is a 24sq km island lies about 20km southeast of Santa Cruz and is very popular for day trips. Its English name is Barrington. There is a good anchorage in an attractive bay on the north. A short 300 meter trail takes you to the tallest stands of opuntia cactus in the island to look out for land iguanas. Other attractions include a sea lion colony, excellent snorkeling, marine iguanas and of course birds.

Plazas: These two small islands are just off the east coast of Santa Cruz. A dry landing on a jetty brings you to an opuntia cactus forest where there are many land iguanas. A one km trail circuit leads visitors through sea lion colonies and along a cliff top walk where swallow – tailed gulls and other species nest.

After returning on board, we cruise for Puerto Ayora, Santa Cruz Island where you will have the chance to disembark on the evening after dinner

SUNDAY
Santa Cruz Island
In the morning we visit the “Fausto Llerena” giant tortoise breeding and rearing center. The facilities are named after this individual, who with a lot of care and passion for his job, has been in charge of this breeding center for decades. He has helped to save many giant tortoise generations for more than 30 years.
Then will got to highlands of Santa Cruz where you will visit a Giant Tortoise Reserve for an easy hike to observe to Giant Tortoises in their natural habitat. Lunch in the Highlands.
Arrive to Puerto Ayora: Casa Natura: check – in and welcome cocktail. Briefing. Dinner and overnight. (L,)

MONDAY
Isabela Island
Departure to Isabela Island by boat. Arrive in the afternoon and transfer to Hotel and check in. Walking visit to the flamingo’s lagoons and after a short visit to the Interpretation Center of the Island. Overnight in Isabela (B,)

TUESDAY
Isabela Island – Volcan Sierra Negra
After breakfast, we take a bus ride up to the highlands of Isabela where we horseback (optional) or hike to “Sierra Negra Volcano”, one of the active volcanoes in the Galapagos.
Box Lunch will be in the Crater of the Volcano, the largest caldera in the islands with a diameter of 9-10 kms. Sierra Negra offers volcanic activity as well as spectacular geology and the northwest side of the caldera is an area of fumaroles. Return around 4:00PM. Afternoon relaxing on the stunning white sand beach of Puerto Villamil or at the lodge restaurant. * Share tour: Volcano Sierra Negra Tour. (B, Box Lunch)

WEDNESDAY
Isabela – Santa Cruz
After breakfast, transfer out to Santa Cruz Island by speed boat. We visit Tortuga Bay, a wonderful beach: One hour walk (five km) west from Puerto Ayora on a marked and cobbled path. The path is good for bird watching; it is easy to spot several species of finches as you walk along the path. The white sand beach is considered by many the nicest of the archipelago. It name comes from the sea turtles that go there to lay their eggs. Other species can be found, including pelicans, flamingos and marine iguanas. Afternoon in the beach and free time. (B, L,)

WEDNESDAY
Transfer out Santa Cruz - Quito
Breakfast and Transfer out Baltra’s airport in order to catch your flight black to mainland for connections or visit Ecuador. Arrive to Quito. End of services.
