Inkaterra Canopy

The Inkaterra Canopy is a complex set of hanging bridges, towers and platforms.
The system is comprised of a total of 344 meters (1136 feet) distributed in 7 hanging bridges;
8 treetop observation platforms and two impressive 29 meter-tall towers.

THE PROGRAM INCLUDES:
• Bilingual environmental interpreter specialized in Canopy
environment and Canopy Walkway safety.
• A visit to the Inkaterra Asociación (ITA) Interpretation Center to:
- Learn about the high biological characteristics of the
surroundings and the layout of the canopy walkway.
- Learn about ITA`s conservation and development projects
supporting local communities
• An hour and a half guided excursion to the canopy and
personalized explanations during the visit.
• Equipment available to visitors: Binoculars, telescopes, flashlights,
magnifying glasses and a manual for closely identifying these
interesting species.
• Roundtrip guided boat ride from Puerto Maldonado.
• Snack (including a soda) souvenir and a contribution certificate.

CONDITION:
This excursion requires prior reservation. Please, verify the
schedules before confirming a reservation.
Rates are commissionable (except of children's rates), subject to
change without prior notice and valid until December 2006.
Children must be accompanied by their parents. We do not allow
children below 6 years old.
