FERNANDO DE NORONHA
Fernando de Noronha is located in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, around 335 miles off Recife, in the state of Pernambuco in Brazil. This archipelago consists of 21 islands, islets and rocks of volcanic origins. It was discovered by Portuguese expedition in 16th century. Today is a World Heritage site and a diver’s real treasure.

WEATHER
There are two predominant seasons: the dry season that goes from September to February, and the rainy season with eventual showers that goes from March to August. It is always very sunny and the cool breeze is always blowing. The temperature varies little during the year with an average of 80° F. Diver’s visibility in the water ranges from 60 to 190 feet and the annual average temperature is of 80° F.

The more experienced divers can go to the deeper spots such as Pontal do Norte (North Point), o Cabeça da Sapata (Deadeye Head) and Naufrágio da Corveta (Corvette Wreck). The corvette belonged to the Brazilian Navy and sank in 1985 and is still well-preserved on the bottom of the sea.

Day 01 – Fernando de Noronha
Reception and transfer from Fernando de Noronha airport to selected accommodation.
Ecological Lecture – Greeting at Águas Claras Auditorium to introduce Fernando’s de Noronha attractions through videos. It lasts approximately 40 minutes. Overnight accommodation.

Day 02 – Fernando de Noronha
Breakfast. Transfer from hotel to port to board the diving boat. 2 tanks dive (Divers must be certified)
Dive location will be chosen that day by the captain and based on sea conditions and diver’s level.
Return to hotel. Rest of the day free to relax and explore.
Overnight accommodation.

Day 03 – Fernando de Noronha
Breakfast. A free day for activities of your choice. We recommend visit to Porcos bay (Pigs bay) which is one of the main highlights of Fernando de Noronha. The bay is in front of two brothers rocks and has some natural pools formed between the rocks and reefs.
Overnight accommodation.

Day 04 – Fernando de Noronha
Breakfast. Transfer from hotel to port to the board diving boat. 2 tanks on dive (Divers must be certified).
Dive location will be chosen that day by the captain and based in sea conditions and diver’s level.
Return to hotel. Rest of the day free to relax and explore. We recommend visit to Conceição beach, one of the best beaches frequented in the islands. Offers good waves, beautiful landscape and has some bars.
Overnight accommodation.

Day 05 – Fernando de Noronha
Breakfast. A free day for activities of your choice. We recommend visit to Golfinhos bay (dolphins bay) which is located behind Sancho beach, and is an area of preservation banned for swimming and boats. It serves as shelter for golfinhos rotadores (spinner dolphins). Just one trail leads to the top of a natural wall where is possible to see the spinner dolphins.

Day 06 – Fernando de Noronha
Breakfast. At appropriate time, transfer to the airport.
