Classic City Tour. 3 hours at Sightseeing of Buenos Aires,
a cosmopolitan city that shows the influence of the numerous herds of
immigrants that formed it. The tour starts at the historic Plaza de Mayo
Square, scenery of resonant politic manifestations. It is surrounded by
the Government House, best known as the "Pink House", which
is the seat of the Executive Branch; the Cabildo (the old City Hall) and
the Cathedral. The Avenida De Mayo, which starts in this square, is an
interesting set of buildings of varied styles that reflect the diversity
of its inhabitants. Through this avenue, you reach the Congress Palace.
Wide avenues and green areas appear constantly trying to slow down the
rhythm of this vertiginous city. A sample of this is the 9 de Julio Avenue,
with its eight lanes divided by small green squares with old leafy trees
and enriched by sculptures and fountains. In the middle of this avenue,
in the Plaza de la Republica, the Obelisk arises as a symbol of the city.
Southwards, we reach the picturesque and colorful port neighborhood of
La Boca with its famous street, "Caminito", whose architectonic
characteristics and customs reflect the influence of the European citizens
that came to this shores in the last years of the 19th century, specially
Genoese sailors. The visit continues towards San Telmo, one of the oldest
neighborhoods in Buenos Aires, which was also a center of immigrant settles
and which keeps most of its architectonic patrimony untouched: its colonial
houses, its cobbled streets. Every Sunday an antique fair is held in the
Plaza Dorrego. The area has also a lively nigh-life, as there are many
tango houses, restaurants and pubs. The visit then goes on towards the
modern and well-off district of Puerto Madero; Palermo neighborhood with
its elegant residences framed by wide green areas; reaching finally the
district of Recoleta, the most sophisticated neighborhood in Buenos Aires.

AT NIGHT Dinner & Show at Esquina Carlos Gardel.
In Buenos Aires of the last years of the 19th century, when tango was
starting to become known and get into people´s souls, mixing slowly
with the essence of the natives and of the immigrants; the neighborhood
of Abasto, named after the Supplies Market, was witness of the birth of
an undisputed idol: Carlos Gardel, “el Morocho del Abasto”
that would become, here and abroad, the icon of Tango. In the neighborhood
of Abasto, in the corner of the street that today has his name and where
a statue of him is placed, there was a restaurant called “El Chanta
Cuatro” where the picturesque guys of the market would gathered
and where “Carlitos” used to meet his friends. The restaurant
opened in 1893. Nowadays, more than 100 years after, the history repeats
and in the same place, “Esquina Carlos Gardel”, this unique
theme restaurant, was inaugurated. Excellent cuisine; a gorgeous Art Noveau
room, faithfully resembling the sophistication of the most luxurious salons
of that times; technical equipment of last generation; an artistic offer
of the highest level and a mythic atmosphere, ideal for an unforgettable
night.Overnight accommodation.
