El Colomé

Colomé is home to one of the highest vineyards in the world (2,700 meters) and a superb nine room hotel owned by the Hess Family Estates, a family-run business of seven wineries on four continents.

Estancia Colomé in Salta offers two Master Suites and seven Junior Suites which all feature a terrace, heated floors and a fireplace. Guests can take a guided tour of the winery which, of course, ends with a wine tasting or visit the James Turrell Museum on the grounds. The founder of the Colomé Estate, Donald Hess, is a patron of the arts and has dedicated a space entirely to the work of this American artist who is famous for his work with light. Guests can also enjoy outdoor sporting activities such as horse riding, mountain biking or tennis, or, simply unwind in a relaxing lounger on the veranda or by the swimming pool. Other facilities include a gourmet restaurant, a gym, a screening room, a library, a gift shop and a wine bar.
