Day 01: RIO DE JANEIRO.
Upon arrival private transfer to Santa Teresa Hotel. Check in at Hotel Santa Teresa. Enjoy a romantic luxuriously appointed guest room; welcome with Champagne and tropical fruit platter in the room. Day at leisure to enjoy the excellent spa at the hotel (choose from a selection of excellent spa treatments for couples including: baths, massages, facials and a Hammam bath with exclusive Nature Amazonian essential oils). Conclude the day with a romantic dinner at the elegant Téréze restaurant at the hotel.

Day 02: RIO DE JANEIRO.
Start the day with a delicious breakfast served in the room.
Full day tour of historic Rio and Santa Teresa with lunch at Colombo

A walk around downtown Rio offers a great opportunity to get a taste of Brazil's history, culture and traditions. The oldest part of Rio de Janeiro boasts many beautiful buildings from Brazil's colonial and gold rush era, including the São Bento Monastery and the Imperial Palace. Enjoy a delicious lunch at the Viennese style 19th century Café Colombo. After lunch explore the charming hillside neighborhood of Santa Teresa accompanied by a knowledgeable local guide. Once home to upper-class residents, Santa Teresa is now an artistic hotspot. Admire the beautiful architecture and take in the fabulous views of the city and bay below. Also visit the Carmelite convent and the famous Selarón Staircase, a colorful tile mosaic created by Chilean-born artist Jorge Selarón.

Day 03 - RIO DE JANEIRO

Full day Tour of Corcovado and Sugar Loaf by sunset, BBQ lunch included
Today, explore the best outdoor attractions and viewpoints of Rio de Janeiro. From the hotel, drive along Rio’s string of famous beaches, such as Leblon, Ipanema, Copacabana and Leme, to Praia Vermelha (in the Urca district). Board the cable car to the top of Sugar Loaf Mountain. The ascent is completed in two stages. The first stop is Urca Mountain; take a walk through the gardens and take in the magnificent views. Then continue to the peak with sweeping views of the Atlantic Ocean, the beaches and the city. Before lunch also visit the striking modern Cathedral downtown. Enjoy a delicious traditional BBQ lunch (lunch without beverages included). After lunch, visit Rio de Janeiro’s landmark statue of Christ the Redeemer, one of the modern wonders of the world. The statue stands on top of Corcovado Mountain (2,300 feet above sea level). To access the statue, board the cogwheel train at the Corcovado train station in Cosme Velho for a 15-minute ride through the lush Tijuca forest. The Tijuca National Park is the largest urban forest in the world, with 8,000 acres of Atlantic rainforest in the heart of Rio de Janeiro. From the viewpoint at the feet of the 120 feet high concrete and soapstone statue, enjoy spectacular 360º degree views over the city. 

Night at leisure to discover Santa Teresa or choose one of the many excellent restaurants in Rio de Janeiro’s other neighborhoods for a Carioca night out.

Day 04 - RIO DE JANEIRO. Breakfast in the room

Day at leisure for shopping. Pick up some souvenirs, such as havaiana slippers,  colorful arts and crafts, local designer wear or fashionable shoes or trendy summer styles. Romantic goodbye dinner at Restaurant Astoria  overlookingGuanabara Bay

Day 05 - RIO DE JANEIRO Breakfast in the room.
Enjoy a relaxing day with a late check-out until 6:00 p.m. At appropriate time, transfer to the airport.
