This unique eco-adventure tour explores the fascinating natural scenery of northeastern Argentina and visits one of the first National Parks on the continent, now also a UNESCO Heritage Site. Straddling the Argentina-Brazilian border, Iguazu Falls is one of the most impressive waterfalls, formed by a string of hundreds of falls that range in height from 200 to 270 feet, set in lush tropical rainforest. Take a zodiac ride on the Iguazu River and feel the cool spray of these mighty falls, or walk up to the edge and stare into the abyss of raging waters at Devil’s Throat.

Day 1: IGUAZUUpon arrival, private transfer to Panoramic Hotel.

Half Day Argentine Falls

Visit the Argentinean side of the Iguazu Falls, located inside Iguazu National Park, one of the first protected nature areas in South America and a UNESCO Heritage Site. At the Visitor's Center board an open train for the 15-minute ride to the Cataratas Station. From here, follow a pleasant easy walking path through the forest that will lead to numerous lookouts along the upper and lower trail for a close-up look of numerous of the 275 waterfalls that drop from a height of 70 m/200 ft. Also take time to admire the lush rainforest, packed with an amazing variety of ferns, orchids, begonias, birds and butterflies. Then board the train to continue to Garganta Station. Follow the 1200 m/4000 ft walkway to the Devil's Throat lookout; be prepared to get wet and watch the impressive thunderous churning water below. Return by train to the Visitor's Center. Drop-off at the hotel. Departure time: 8 A.M. or 2 P.M. (Pick up at hotel lobby 20 minutes prior).

Half day tour The Great Adventure

This circuit offers an exciting adventure inside the Argentinean National Park, near the Iguassu Falls area. Travel in specially conditioned 4WD vehicles guided by expert bilingual local guides and explore the exuberant and well preserved ecosystem of the region. A short walk through the forest leads to the Iguazú River; board a zodiac boat for a 30-minute trilling boat tour that provides a close-up look of the San Martín and Bozzetti Falls. Tour length: 1hr.

Note: The Great Adventure is a one-hour activity that takes part inside the Argentinian National Park and does not include transfers. Unless guests are staying at the Sheraton Hotel, this tour must be booked on the same day as the Argentine Falls tour.

Day 2: IGUAZUAt appropriate time, transfer to the airport.
