El Cencerro is located in a rural area 80 Kms from Buenos Aires. The charming property preserves an authentic argentine countryside home. Guests are lodged in one of the 3 suites (each with its own fireplace and bathroom) and can share relaxing time in the living room and the dinning room. Nature surrounds the area where trees abound, some of them very ancient, like a 150 years old magnolia next to the house, where guests enjoy wonderful breakfasts or lunches under its immense shade. Experience the true life of the estancia watching or participating in some rural jobs like milking cows (very early morning, of course), saddle the horses, collect freshly laid eggs and feed very friendly ducks and chickens. The hen “Carolina” is the queen of the roost. We recommend getting to El Cencerro by car from Buenos Aires. Private bilingual driver available with reservation only. Services included: • LODGING • 4 DAILY MEALS: o Breakfast: milk and cheese from the El Cencerro cows, homemade bread. o Lunch: barbecue meat or farm chicken cooked in Argentinean style. o Afternoon tea: waffles or cakes. o Dinner: homemade pasta or other specialties. *For vegetarians please tell us in advance so that a special menu can be prepared. • USE OF FACILITIES: o Outdoor swimming pool, hammocks, bicycles, horses, farm wagon, pony available for kids, ping pong table, soccer, volley court, football court, fishing in our private small river and enjoyment of our farm animals with their families (pigs, sheep, cows, bull, dogs, turkeys), and of course , all the wild life and plants in our area. Check-out Time: 10:30 AM. *A late checkout (07:00 PM) is available at an additional cost of USD50.00 per person (lunch and tea included). AEROSTHATIC BALLOON Duration: 1 to 11/2 hours in total. You can participate in the preparation of the balloon, which is part of the show (it takes half an hour) and the wrapping of it after the ride (another half hour). The flight starts from the estancia’s ground. HORSEBACK RIDING Duration: 1 or 2 hours horse rides with a guide. Guided visit to the village (Capilla del Señor) Guided visit to a cheese factory. |
