Posada Plaza Mayor is located in the historical city of Colonia del Sacramento, declared World Heritage by UNESCO.
The Inn is a unique quiet and magical place built on a house dating from 1860 of a Portuguese ranch from 1700’s, which has been renovated with high technological standards. The internal patio is full of plants and trees and a colonial fountain at the center resembling the colonial Spanish houses.
The 15 rooms offer private bathroom, A/C (hot and cold), telephone with DDI, and TV (with DirectTV in all colonial rooms). The 12 rooms on the ground level maintain the stone walls. Suite, junior suite and one of the superior rooms have whirlpool and DirecTV.
