Jardim da Amazonia Lodge is located in Mato Grosso State, about 290 kilometers from Cuiaba airport, alongside the Rio Claro river where two ecosystems meet. It is here where the transition of the Pantanal and the Amazon take place resulting in an enormous variety of flora and fauna, difficult to match anywhere else.

The lodge can only be reached by car from the city of Cuiaba. Scheduled transfers of 170 kilometers of paved and 120 kilometers of unpaved roads to the edge of the Amazon region North of the Pantanal.offer tourists the first contact of the ecosystems.

Accommodations at the lodge are provided either in bungalows or at the "old Hacienda", now completely rebuilt and decorated with furniture of the old time. The “pousada” is an old farmhouse with personalized service. The ambience is rustic and simple. Only the accommodations in the bungalows have king size beds, private bath, TV, fan, mini-bar and a balcony.

The lodge has a natural pool that gets its water from a well.

Meals are served buffet style in the lodge’s restaurant with fresh regional ingredients.

Besides relaxing on the pleasant white sands river beaches, there are other activities offered, such as: ecological hikes, canoeing, Bird-watching, snorkeling, Ecological and photographic boat-tour on the clear waters of the Claro river, popular for its crystal clear water-hole that forms a natural aquarium of typical fishes of the Amazon.
