Villa Bahia

Entering Villa Bahia is like walking into an exquisite small museum packed with gorgeous artwork in tribute to the 15th and 16th century era of overseas discoveries;

the hotel is housed in two adjoining 17th and 18th century buildings that have been beautifully restored and overlook the São Francisco Convent and Church in the heart of Pelourinho. Each of the 17 rooms is named after a destination along the Portuguese trade routes and uniquely decorated with large rustic furniture, colorful fabrics, recycled construction materials and fine art. Rooms on the top floor feature a private terrace with views of the rooftops and church towers. Breakfast is served in an intimate courtyard.
