Antarctica XXI Cruise

Set course for a once in a lifetime trip to Antarctica and explore the world’s remotest corner from the air and sea! The Antarctica XXI combines a spectacular flight over Cape Horn and the Drake Passage with a cruise onboard this modern and comfortable ice class vessel. Equipped with an ice-strengthened hull, the M/V Ocean Noa has been especially designed to cruise in these challenging conditions. There is room for 68 passengers, accommodated in basic but comfortable private single, twin or triple cabins. The vessel also features a glass-enclosed observation lounge and lecture room, restaurant, bar and library.  All excursions are made in fast safe Zodiac boats. Packages range from a 5-day tour (departing Ushuaia to Antarctica, visiting the South Shetland Islands and returning by plane to Punta Arenas) to a 9-day Polar Circle Tour (flying to and from Antarctica and cruising along the Antarctic Peninsula as far south as the Polar Circle).

Ushuaia

The Ushuaia is a compact ice-strengthened vessel, designed for Antarctica expeditions and specialized in longer 10 to 20 day trips to Las Malvinas, South Georgia, the Weddell Sea and Antarctica via the Drake Passage. Get ready for some amazing arctic wildlife viewing as you visit the vast penguin colonies and albatross breeding grounds, observe Elephant seals and fur seals and spot various other birds and mammals. Photography guides conduct onboard photography workshops and assist you in capturing the best shots in this unique environment. The vessel accommodates up to 84 guests in 41 compact but comfortable cabins that have recently been remodeled. The onboard facilities include a spacious dining room, observation lounge and bar, a presentation room and a library. Guests enjoy delicious meals served with excellent South-American wines.

Le Boreal

Launched in 2010, the newest Antarctica cruise ship Le Boreal brings a world of luxury to Antarctic travel. With room for up to 199 passengers, this vessel is significantly larger than the other boats and features 104 luxurious outside cabins with floor to ceiling windows and private balconies. In-room amenities include flat screen television with satellite programming, DVD/CD player and wireless internet. To make your trip even more pleasant, the vessel offers an open bar, several observation areas, a panoramic terrace, a library, a fitness center, spa and sauna. Le Boreal features two restaurants: The Restaurant specializes in gourmet and international cuisine and the Compass Grill serves up casual delicious meals with indoor or outdoor seating (weather permitting). The kitchen happily accommodates vegetarians and almost every other special diet request. An advanced stabilizing system helps to minimize the effects of rough conditions at sea. All excursions are conducted in fast Zodiacs, allowing you to take a close up look at glaciers and wildlife. Le Boreal offers several classic itineraries starting at 12 days that include the Antarctic Peninsula, Drake Passage, Las Malvinas and South Georgia.
